My Approach
As a coach, I know that personal accountability is critical in my
work. Coaching is deeply rooted in both personalised learning and
leadership development training.
A great coach is able to support clients whilst challenging them with
tough, thought-provoking questions. I am a firm believer that difficult
questions create avenues to achieving a true insight into any given
scenario.
In my opinion, Life & Executive Coaching is about permanent and
fundamental shifts in the way that people view themselves as individuals,
and in the manner in which they perceive their business or job.
I coach people using a variety of techniques which are mainly the
following:
The Person Centred Approach: working with clients in a non-directive
manner and allowing them to steer the topics being discussed; this
allows the person to activate their own innate capacity for personal
growth;
Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy Approaches: based on the
theory that clients have the ability to develop more effective behaviour
through improved cognitions (thoughts);
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP): a powerful and effective
approach that uses a model of how human beings process information
and how they can use their freedom to choose to improve their situations
in innovative ways;
Logotherapy: an existential approach developed to help individuals
come to terms with personal responsibility and to discover their own
meaning of life, love and work, which for each individual may be something
different.
